DeNagy Gold Techniques

At DeNagy, the rings are set as standard 14k white or yellow gold.

18k white gold, 18k yellow gold, rose gold, platinum and palladium are available on request.

There are two main techniques used on our peices:

Mould

Handcarved

This is where the ring is created from a pre-cast mould. The gold is then poured into the mould and stone set. This technique creates a clean look for the ring, with modern sleek styling. It is also a cost effective way to make Jewellery, as little time is needed to be spent 'fussing' with details.

Sometimes the ring starts with a mould, other times it does not. Hand Carved is where the artisan will use various tools to create a unique finish to the ring. It entails much more work, but the result is a much more detailed and ornamental piece.
